NTUC Incomeshield New Daily Cash and Child Illness Riders
NTUC Income has recently launched two new riders for their Incomeshield plans. Incomeshield or Enhanced Incomeshield policyholders have the option of adding these two riders to their basic policy:
- Daily Cash Rider
- Child Illness Rider
Premiums for both these riders have to be paid with cash.
Daily Cash Rider
Get a daily cash of $50-150 for each day of hospitalisation and a get well benefit of $100-300 upon discharge.
Entry age: 14 days to 65 years old next birthday
Rider is guaranteed renewable up to age 85 but the premium rates are not guaranteed.

Child Illness Rider
1) Provides up to $20k cash when your child is afflicted by one of the covered illnesses:
- Severe Asthma
- Leukaemia
- Bone Marrow Transplant
- Insulin-dependent Diabetes Mellitus
- Rheumatic Disease with Valvular Impairment
- Kawasaki Disease
- Haemophilia
- Still’s Disease
- Mental Retardation due to Sickness, Injury and/or Accident
2) For any accidents that results in fractures to the skull, spine, pelvis or femur, a cash benefit of 10% of the Sum Assured will be paid out, up to 100% of the Sum Assured.
Entry age: 14 days to 24 years old (age next birthday)
Premiums are at $99/year
