SCB 5% Rebate Online Shopping Promotion
From 1 October to 30 November 2011, use your Standard Chartered credit card and get 5% CashBack on all your online retail purchases, from ordering a pizza to buying a camera, paying for your air tickets, shopping for handbags and more.
To enjoy this promotion, just follow these simple steps:
1) Be the first 50,000 to register between 1 October 2011 and 30 November 2011.

2) Charge a minimum of $999 on retail transactions (need not be online) during the promotion period.
Upon reading the T&C, I realised that there is a cap of $50 cash rebate per credit card (Make sure you read the T&C carefully).
Which means that the optimal spend amount on each card is $1000 as you won’t be getting any more rebates if you spend more than $1000.
However, the qualifying $999 is based on any retail transactions, so if you spend $1000 on your card out of which $400 are online transactions, you will still qualify. In this case, your rebate will be 5% of $400 (which is $20).
