Asia Trader and Investor Conference (ATIC) Review

I will start the Lion Investor blog with a review of the Asia Trader and Investor Conference (ATIC) that was held in Singapore recently. This is a 2-day event held at Suntec that featured exhibitions by various financial institutions as well as a series of education talks, some of which were delivered by pretty well-known speakers. The event was organised by NextView and was also held in a few other countries.

The exhibitors that were present include some familiar faces to me. These include:

There were also a few other exhibitors that I wasn’t too familiar with. These include:

As I was busy attending all the talks throughout the two days, I didn’t really go and check out most of the exhibitors. In any case, I already know most of what they were offering.

There was a total of four seminar rooms at the conference, so there could be as many as three or four talks going on simultaneously at any one time. Therefore, a bit of planning was required on my part to select the ones I wanted to attend.

Most of the talks were free. However, the ones given by the prominent speakers required us to have a $30 ticket before we could attend. I suppose they have to do this to manage the demand and supply. The list of speakers include:

Over the next few days, I will share some of the learning points I learnt from the talks which I attended.
