A Personal Message from Martin Lee

Welcome to Martin Lee @ Sg, a blog with a focus on financial matters in Singapore.

Ever since I started taking a keen interest in financial stuff in 2000, I have never stopped learning about the topic. Sometimes, I would share some of my insights with the people I know. At other times, I wished there was a way I could reach out easily to more people, especially to warn them about dubious investments.

And so, I started this site (formerly known as lioninvestor.com) in March 2008 with a vision to use it to share things that I feel are important to others. The site currently enjoys an average readership of about 35,000 page views a month. The peak was in October 2008, when it actually reached 128,000 page views due to the collapse of Lehman Brothers.

A rebranding was done in June 2011 where the site was renamed to Martin Lee @ Sg.  Some of my articles have been published on various sites like Yahoo Finance, NextInsight and also under the blogger section of ShareJunction.

Currently, I spend roughly half my time managing my own portfolio and the other half advising people on their investment and insurance related matters.
