FTSE ST Catalist Index
SPH, SGX and FTSE Group will be launching the new FTSE ST Catalist Index on 22nd June 2009.
The Catalist is a market on Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd and caters to fast growing companies compared to the Mainboard which is more for established companies.
The second liner market used to be called SESDAQ but was restructured to become Catalist last year.
The FTSE ST Catalist index is part of the FTSE ST Index Series and provides investors with a tool to monitor the performance of Catalist sponsored companies. Review of the index constituents will be done on a semi-annual basis in March and September.
