The Million Dollar HDB Unit is Finally Here
Looks like we have finally crossed the one million dollar threshold for a HDB unit. More of such million dollar HDB units to come?
A resale HDB executive apartment at Block 149 Mei Ling Street at Queenstown was sold for over a million dollars with a Cash-Over-Valuation (COV) of S$195,000. The price works out to be about $620 psf.
The sellers had previously bought the unit for under $800,000 six to seven years ago and had spent about $50,000 on renovations. They will be moving into a landed property after selling the unit. The unit was built in 1995.
The buyers are a Singaporean couple who are downgrading from a private property.
